Why Biocryptic ID Management?
Biocryptic ID Management is considerably less complex than traditional biometric solutions – to the extent that it opens up new potential usages. GenKey replaces the main element of a biometric system; the biometric sample is a number string instead of a complex and space demanding template.
Privacy issues traditionally related to the use of biometrics is solved by replacing images and templates with an insensitive Public Key.
Using Biocryptic ID Management you are able to create a biometric link between a person and a card or document without using smart cards or magnet strips. The Public Key is printed as a 1D barcode allowing you to create biometrically enabled documents at a very low cost.
Usages include boarding passes, luggage tags, contracts, event tickets and mark sheets. The software is ready to use out-of-the-box, and is easily configured to your needs.

What does it do?
GenKey ID Management consists of four user roles:
Setup Mode: Set all global parameters in the system like setup of biographic fields, enrolment and verification workflows as well as revocation business rules.
Enrolment Mode: Enrol the biographic and biometric information of the subjects based on the system setup. If required a 1:many search will be performed to avoid duplicate enrolments.
Verification Mode: Scan the bar code from the Biocryptic ID card, scan the fingerprints of the subject and match the two for verification.
Admin Mode: Perform duplicate checks, manage the issuing, revocation, suspension and reissuing of ID’s, manage users and structure reports and analysis.
GenKey ID Management is integrated with ELISE ID from WCC Smart Search & Match - securing reliable, scalable and fast 1:many capabilities, including the possibility for combined searches based on biographic and multi modal biometric data. (www.wcc-group.com)
Biocryptic ID Card
After successful enrolment, documents with the GenKey stored as a barcode are issued, alternatively, you can store the GenKey in a database to support card-free verification – or use any other storage media in the card.
